Esther Nelson acts as Project Manager throughout the lifetime of our website projects and is there to liaise with, and inform the clients as to progress. 

Esther is a highly experienced Information professional with extensive experience working both in the public and private sectors.
 
Esther is a professionally qualified Librarian and worked for two years in Nottinghamshire public libraries, responsible for amongst others, the local history section.
 
Selected Achievements
 
  • Esther organised the technical library at the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service before going on to work at the Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, developing her career there until she took responsibility for the International Trade section covering export trade documentation and organising trade missions coming into the UK from Europe.
  • Esther was also active in the Chamber’s bid to host the new European Information Centre, the Enterprise Europe Network, winning the contract before leaving the Chamber to join her husband, Patrick at UnderDesign. 
  • Throughout Esther’s management of the European Information Centre they consistently gained the highest grade awarded by the European Commission, proving the quality of work and standard of service. 
  • Today, Esther co-ordinates the internal UnderDesign team and external contractors to ensure that the best quality and highest skills are put to work on every project UnderDesign undertakes.
  • Esther also takes care of the general office management, accounts and manages our other online web businesses as well as undertaking vital research for the team, including information related to web site usability, search engine optimisation and technological advancements.
  • Since joining UnderDesign, Esther has enabled the company to expand its services to go beyond website design and development and offer follow up services such as website optimization and Internet marketing.
